01 Kitchen Consultation
The first step is to schedule a free personal design consultation with a designer in our showroom located at 250 South Van Brunt St. Englewood, NJ 07631. In order to help us help you, please bring as much information about your project as you can i.e. floor plans, measurements, appliance wish list, inspiration photos, etc.. We also accept walk-in clients, but scheduling an appointment will ensure you have more dedicated attention from a designer. 02 Kitchen Design & Estimate
Once initial material selections have been chosen in your first consultation, a designer will begin to work on your kitchen layout. Floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings will be created, all free of charge and commitment free. We’ll then call you back into the showroom for a second meeting to sit down with your designer and review your new kitchen plans in detail. Changes can be made on the spot to wants/needs and an exact cost price will be provided to you. If you accept our design and pricing, we would then ask you to leave a retainer so we can continue to put your kitchen renovation project into action.
03 Kitchen Cabinet Ordering
Upon collecting a retainer, a field measurer will be scheduled to visit your home and take exact measurements of your space. Your floor plan will then be adjusted to these measurements and your kitchen cabinet order can now be placed. A copy of these detailed plans can be sent to your architect or general contractor if needed. Once your order is placed, it could take anywhere from two to ten weeks for cabinets to arrive (four to six weeks is typically the average), this all depends on the type of cabinets you order.
04 Kitchen Delivery & Installation
Several weeks later your kitchen cabinets arrive to your home. A fully licensed and insured Design Depot professional installer will be scheduled to perform the cabinet install, this typically takes anywhere from 2-5 days depending on the size and complexity of your kitchen. If you opted out of a Design Depot installer, then detailed plans will be provided to your own installer.
